A trio from south London have been charged on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.

Police say that the charges relate to suspected drug trafficking in Andover, Hampshire.

Officers were investigating a county line that was allegedly being operated from London into Andover between May 2022 and September 2022.

All three suspects have been charged on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.

They are:

Sherihan Sharif, 28, of Broomwood Road, Orpington, Bromley,

Davontae Smith, 21, of Saltwood Close, Orpington, Bromley

Nathaniel Vamboi, 26, of Mount Pleasant, West Norwood

The group appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (September 6) and will remain in custody until they next appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday, October 5.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: “Three people from London have been charged with drugs offences relating to a suspected county line in Andover.

“Sherihan Sharif, 28, of Broomwood Road, Orpington, Bromley, Davontae Smith, 21, of Saltwood Close, Orpington, Bromley and Nathaniel Vamboi, 26, of Mount Pleasant, West Norwood, London have all been charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.

“The charges come following a proactive investigation with the Metropolitan Police into a county line being operated from London into Andover between May 2022 and September 2022.

“ All three appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court this morning (Tuesday, 6 September) and have been remanded into custody to next appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday, 5 October.”
