A suspect has been arrested after police found a range of different class A drugs during a search of a car in Battersea this morning.
Police on patrol noticed the car and stopped it for a Misuse of Drugs search during the early hours.
When officers searched the vehicle, they found several snap bags of a variety of drugs.
The bags of drugs were recovered and a man was arrested.
Wandsworth police are investigating the incident.
Wandsworth Police tweeted: “One of our Violence suppression teams was on patrol in Battersea in the early hours of this morning.
“Their attention was drawn to a car which was stopped for a Misuse of Drugs search.
“Class A drugs were recovered.
“The male was arrested.
“Our CID teams are investigating.”
