Unite Union members that are part of the Abellio bus services will be striking this week in a continued dispute over pay and working conditions.

The strikes will mostly affect the west and south London, where Abellio operates.

Ahead of the action, Transport for London has urged travellers to check before they travel and amend their usual journey if affected.

Altogether, bus drivers will strike for eight days across January with two days already taking place in the first week of the month.

Previously, members of the union striked for ten days across November and December before announcing further action in the new year.

Wandsworth Times:

Initially, the dispute involved 950 drivers but Unite has shared that its membership has since doubled.
