A flood alert has been raised for the Thames riverside area between Putney Bridge to Teddington Weir.
At 9:10am the Environment Agency issued a series of warnings for potential flood risks around the south east of England.
The Environment Agency issued a warning for “possible flooding” for tidal Thames riverside areas running between Putney Bridge to Teddington Weir.
The areas at risk include Twickenham, Richmond upon Thames, Kew and Barnes.
The public are being advised to avoid using low lying footpaths and entering areas prone to flooding.
It’s also being advised for the people living in affected areas to “start acting” on a flood plan if they have one.
