A person has died after being hit by a train at a Britain's largest railway station in London.
British Transport Police officers were called to Waterloo railway station at around 8.10pm on February 13 after receiving reports of a casualty on the tracks.
They were dispatched to the scene with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.
The patient was located and taken to hospital, where they died a short while later.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to Waterloo railway station at about 8.10pm yesterday (13 February) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.

“Paramedics also attended and the person was taken to hospital where they sadly died.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”
