Prestige Offices, the prime office space brokerage and consultancy firm that assists businesses seeking high-end, flexible office space in London, has announced growing demand for business space south of the river.

Although the agency is focused on delivering its services to those seeking space in Central London, some of those locations, such as Borough, London Bridge, The Shard Quarter and South Bank, are south of the river and are technically classed as South London. As these locations become increasingly popular, the agency has decided to expand coverage in those areas as well as others in South London.

Mike Gardener, Managing Director at Prestige Offices said: “Locations south of the Thames have long been chosen by high-profile occupiers from a wide range of sectors, including Shell, who have been headquartered on the South Bank since the 1960s, and Foster + Partners, who have had a presence in Battersea since 1990.

“In the last decade, the U.S. Embassy chose Nine Elms in Wandsworth in which to base itself, creating a $1billion construction project, and large UK government departments, including HMRC and the Home Office, have chosen office space at Ruskin Square in Croydon.

“More recently, in 2025, it was announced that King’s College London, in partnership with the UK government, would develop a £3 billion district, named SC London, making South London a global destination for health and life sciences occupiers.

“The scheme will deliver more than 2 million square feet of research and development space close to King’s Guy’s and St Thomas’ campuses.

“As the popularity of locations south of the Thames and the demand for best-in-class flexible office space grow concurrently, it makes perfect sense for us to expand our services in the geography.”

Prestige Offices currently lists premium flexible workspaces in over 100 districts across Central London and South London – its search and consultancy services are free to occupiers.
