Drama students from Notre Dame University joined pupils at Sacred Heart School in Battersea for a multicultural play on Friday.
Child of the Migrant Moon was inspired by the experiences of pupils at the school, 75 per cent of whom have English as a second language.
The students, who are from Indiana in the United States but are studying at the university’s London campus, worked with children to bring out their stories of migration.
Headteacher Jared Brading said: “It was a wonderful celebration of the wide range of cultural backgrounds that we have here at Sacred Heart.”
