A cake-off at Cake Boy in Battersea finished with Sherry Glasgow from Greenwich being named Britain's Best Baker.
The event, organised by Red Letter Days, saw hundreds of competitors from all over the country vying for the top prize.
The eight finalists spent hours creating their masterpieces before being judged by Master Patissier Eric Lanlard, Guardian Food Blogger Oliver Thring and Red Letter Days' Managing Director Bill Alexander.
Sherry said: “The competition was so incredibly fierce; I was convinced that one of the other finalists had won the title.”
Sherry has now won a weeks holiday to Sri Lanka.
