Northern line trains were delayed this morning because of a woman walking through the tunnel between south Wimbledon and Morden stations.
The woman, a 24-year-old from Wimbledon, was spotted before she was hit and taken to a mental health hospital.
Officers from the British Transport Police attended the scene at about 8am after reports of a woman walking along the tracks.
In a separate incident, another woman fell ill at Balham station at around 7.25am this morning and taken to St George's Hospital.
