Here’s one trial that King of the Jungle Joe Swash won’t mind getting his teeth into!

There wasn’t a witchetty grub in sight when ‘I’m a Celebrity’ winner, Jo Swash joined the HiQ Battersea boys to help the HiQ fast fit network in its push to raise £100,000 for Breast Cancer Care – with the help of two pretty pink ladies.

Swash kept everyone’s tyres – and spirits – inflated at the Chatham Road centre, when he backed HiQ’s Project Pink campaign, where every one of its 145 centres will aim to raise £275 in the month of October, to help people affected by breast cancer.

If they all manage the feat, the brand will have hit its six figure target set at the beginning of 2009.

Joe said that the charity was very close to his heart, as he has friends who have been affected by breast cancer.

He said: “I’ve got friends that have been affected by breast cancer, so I am really chuffed to be supporting this partnership. The effort that HiQ is going to during Breast Cancer Awareness Month to support Breast Cancer Care is brilliant! I hope that staff and customers will join me and also show their support so HIQ reach the magic £100,000 mark. I wish them all the best in their efforts!”

HiQ’s Marketing Manager Geraldine McGovern said: “We are thrilled to have Joe on board to help us kick-off our month of activities to swell the coffers for Breast Cancer Care.

A number of our centres are already lining up all manner of money spinning events and we hope that with Joe on board that more will become involved.”
