Putney’s former X factor contestant Jamie Archer is lending his support to a nationwide campaign against the spread of industrial dairy farming in Britain.
Jamie “Afro” is backing the World Society for the Protection of Animals’ campaign, Not in My Cuppa, which is battling against the idea of intensive milk farms.
Mr Archer said: “I think it is shocking that in a country like Britain - with our good reputation for animal welfare and farming - that we are even talking about intensive dairy farms.
“There’s no way battery milk will end up in my fridge and in my cup of tea.”
