The BBC has announced members of the public can apply for tickets to the Queen's Platinum Jubilee concert at Buckingham Palace.
The Queen celebrated the 70th anniversary of her accession to the throne on February, 6 and is the first British monarch to reach the milestone.
Buckingham Palace will be hosting a concert in celebration and 5,000 members of the public will receive tickets to attend.
The Platinum Party At The Palace will be held on June 4 on a stage in front of Buckingham Palace.
Charlotte Moore, chief content officer at the BBC, said: “The Platinum Party at the Palace is set to be one of the highlights of Her Majesty The Queen’s landmark Jubilee festivities weekend and one of the biggest concerts in a generation.
“The BBC is honoured to be bringing every moment of this live event to millions watching and listening at home, and on outdoor screens across the UK and around the world.”
Who will be performing?
George Ezra has been announced as the first act to perform at the Platinum Party At The Palace.
In a statement, award-winning musician Ezra said: “Hello everyone, I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am to be part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee concert, what an incredible honour to be asked.
“I look forward to seeing you all on June 4 where we can bring pop and roll to the palace.”
The rest of the line-up is yet to be released but it is expected that musicians from global pop and rock stars to opera singers will perform with a full, live orchestra.
There will also be famous faces from film, TV and the stage, highlighting significant moments from the Queen's reign.
How to get tickets
Members of the public will be able to apply for two tickets each via the BBC website.
Applications will be open at 7am on February 24 and close at 11.59pm on March 23.
Invitations will be sent to charities, including those who support young people, the military and the environment.
Organisations that worked with communities during the pandemic will also be invited.
What other celebrations are there?
There are many events taking place throughout the year including a Trooping the Colour parade and a 90-minute show at Windsor Castle.
There will also be a four-day UK bank holiday weekend from June 2 to 5.
