The Wimbledon 2026 men's final is here, with the number one and two seeds set to battle it out to be crowned this year's champion.
In previous years, the men’s singles final typically started at 2pm, but, as was the case last year, the schedule is slightly different.
Here is why the timings are different and when the final is on.
When is the Wimbledon men's final for 2026?
The men's singles final takes place this afternoon, Sunday (July 12), at 4pm.
It is a day after the women's singles final, which was between two Czech stars, Karolína Muchová and Linda Nosková.
21-year-old Nosková went on to win the match, taking home her first Grand Slam title.
Why is the Wimbledon final now on later?
The Wimbledon final typically aired at 2pm, but this was changed to 4pm last year, which remains the same this year.
All England Club chief executive Sally Bolton said previously: "We have adjusted the provisional schedule for the final weekend of The Championships with the ambition of improving the experience for all involved.
"The move has also been designed with players in mind.
"The doubles players competing in the finals will have increased certainty over their schedule and fans will enjoy each day’s play as it builds towards the crescendo of the ladies’ and gentlemen’s singles finals, with our champions being crowned in front of the largest possible worldwide audience.”
Who is in the Wimbledon men's final this year?
Italian and world number one Jannik Sinner will defend the Wimbledon men's singles title this year against Germany’s Alexander Zverev.
The title match follows impressive semi-final runs from both players.
Sinner delivered a dominant display against seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic, winning 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 to return to the final and end the Serbian’s latest bid for an eighth crown.
Zverev ended British wildcard Arthur Fery’s Cinderella run in the semi-finals with a 7-6 (7-0), 6-2, 6-4 win.
Fery, who began the tournament ranked 114 and without expectations of a deep run, will now rise to world No. 36 and become the new British No. 1.
Speaking after his defeat, Fery said: "It’s going to change things, for sure.
"I’m going to be able to play tour events at least for a full year, hopefully for more.
"It’s important to see how I deal with that change and everything that brings in terms of expectations from myself, from the public, from everyone."

Sinner is the defending champion, while Zverev seeks his first Wimbledon title.
The German won his first Grand Slam earlier this year, winning the French Open, beating Italian Flavio Cobolli.
