An exhibition commemorating rugby players who fought and died in the First World War opens at the World Rugby Museum next month.

Lest We Forget - Rugby and the First World War coincides with the 100 anniversary of Ronald Poulton Palmer's death.

The former England man captained the men in white to a Grand Slam win in the 1914 season and the exhibition honours all rugby players who fought in the war.

Visitors will be treated to stories from rugby players from all over the world and all levels of the game, with many unique objects and images open to public viewing for the first time.
